Which products are included in the b/s/t range?
The range includes flat-roof drains, parapet outlets, emergency overflows, vents, control pipes, cable ducts, fastening components, coated profiles and accessories. Many products are available in different materials and with membrane-specific flanges.
What technical support is available?
b/s/t provides product data, technical advice and online tools for calculating the capacity of selected round and rectangular outlets and overflows. Final sizing must use the project rainfall, roof area, allowable water depth and the applicable drainage design requirements.
Why are emergency overflows required?
Emergency drainage provides a secondary discharge route if the primary system is blocked or overwhelmed. The overflow level and capacity must be coordinated with structural load limits, upstand heights and the primary drainage system.
Can the outlets be supplied for different membranes?
Yes. Depending on the product, b/s/t offers PVC, PP, PE and ALIT bodies with factory-attached or compatible flanges for various synthetic and bituminous membranes. The exact flange must be matched to the roof membrane and joining method.
Does the online calculation confirm code compliance?
No. It provides hydraulic performance information for selected products. The designer remains responsible for rainfall data, effective roof area, primary and emergency drainage strategy, structural ponding limits and compliance with the Irish project requirements.
