How are Kalzip FC panels fixed?
FC panels engage with a proprietary modular click-rail substructure, avoiding visible fasteners through the main panel face. The rails and brackets are still fixed back to a designed structural substrate.
Can installation proceed from the top or bottom?
The system permits installation in more than one direction, which can help site sequencing and refurbishment logistics. The chosen sequence must follow the designed panel layout, joint arrangement and access strategy.
Which supporting walls can carry the system?
Kalzip FC can be used with suitable concrete, masonry, steel-framed and other wall constructions through an appropriately designed bracket and rail system. Fixings, pull-out resistance, tolerances, wind loads and thermal movement require project-specific calculation.
Can a damaged panel be replaced?
Local panel replacement may be possible because of the click-rail arrangement. The exact removal sequence depends on the panel location, installation direction and surrounding details, and replacement colour may differ from weathered existing panels.
